The relevance of the use of tactical techniques and methods of detaining criminals involved in the illegal sale of narcotic drugs is revealed. It is concluded that action taking into account the recommendations on the tactics of detaining an armed criminal will contribute to the successful solution by police officers of the operational-tactical tasks assigned to them.
