Customs reform in the USSR of the 1990-ies

The article examines a crucial period in Russian history, precisely the transition in the end of the XX century to a new state system. This transition was accompanied by the customs reform. The authors conclude that the main methods of customs reform of that period were the adoption of a new legislation and improving the activities of the customs bodies of the Russian Federation.
