Customs bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic in the system of executive power bodies

The article examines the role of the customs authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic in the system of executive authorities. During the study, the author identified the main functions of the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic in ensuring national security, including economic, border and environmental security. In addition, the article outlines the main directions for further improvement and reform of the customs system. The author made a number of recommendations to strengthen customs control at the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic, improve the interaction of the customs service with other law enforcement and control government agencies, and increase the effectiveness of the fight against smuggling and other customs offenses.
