Customs authorities in ensuring current economic security based on the risk management system exemplified by the Far Eastern federal district

The article describes the economic security strategy of the Russian Federation in the context of the activities of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, its role in ensuring national security - its economic aspects. An analysis of the activities of the Far Eastern Customs Administration in organizing the work of the risk management system and the prospects for its development is given. The necessary measures aimed at qualitative changes in the work of customs services to protect the economic interests of Russia are outlined. It is emphasized that the activity of the customs structures of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is a fundamental factor in a coordinated policy in the economy of the member countries based on a single customs code. And as a result, in the light of modern geopolitical reality, the role of customs services, which guard the economic security of the countries of the Union, is reasonably increasing. Modern processes of transformation of foreign economic activity, the priorities of the economic policy of the state determine the role of customs authorities in the system of ensuring national economic security.
