Customs duties as a factor of financial security of the Russian Federation

At the present stage of modernization of the domestic economy, it is the customs authorities of the Russian Federation that provide about 40% of Federal budget revenues through the collection of customs duties, which play a key role in ensuring the financial security of the state. As an integral part of economic security, financial security is maintained by customs authorities, both nationally and internationally. The article deals with the concept, essence and functions of customs payments, threats affecting the financial security of the state, ways to overcome them.
