Against the background of Russia's economic instability, negative trends occurring in social life draw attention to themselves: substitution of spiritual ideals with pragmatic interests, crisis of the labor institute, degradation of research and production potential, pursuit of formal indicators, creating barriers for genuine intellectual activity, finally, introduction of destructive forms free time. With the development of the domestic industry of leisure and entertainment, the problem of the spiritual and moral state of the younger generation is becoming more urgent. Modern entertainment industries may involve young consumers in death oriented leisure activities that contribute to the growth of destructive tendencies. Orientation to death are associated both with the degradation of the life process and with the destruction of human values in the structure of the personality consciousness. The consequence of the death orientations of entertainment industries is the seizure of coarse emotions, the abandonment of genuine creative activity, the loss of the integrity of mental life, and spiritual alienation. Thus, the creativity of death oriented entertainment is the creation of anti-cultural products and services that reduce human activity to the animal level, that is, to the level of satisfaction of biological and emotional needs. The article presents the understanding of the entertainment industry from the pedagogical, psychological and philosophical positions.
