Theatricalization of literature in Konstantin Vaginov's novel «Bambochada»

The article is dedicated to analysis of Konstantin Vaginov's novel «Bambochada» concerning the teatricalization of literature. This device in Vaginov's experimental poetics allows changing the emphasis of the word (the telling) to the theatrical reality (the showing) within the text. The personages function as actors, the interiors relate to a theatre set, the plot disintegrates on separate acts, and the reader becomes the spectator.
