This article describes the tendencies of franchising as one of the most promising forms of international cooperation in Russia in 2020. The relevance of the study lies in the active changes inherent in the century of scientific and technological progress and a large number of new opportunities for business development. Therefore, both current and future franchisees need to follow current trends and make a decision to open a new business or improve it. As a result, franchising in Russia is developing and popular with digital marketing and multi-brand franchising, as well as family restaurants and bakeries and franchises in the field of fitness, nutrition and self-education are spreading.
