Technical features of the tension and non-tension methods of prosthetic repair of abdominal wall in large and giant postoperative ventral hernia

This study presents the results of surgical treatment of 33 patients with large and giant postoperative ventral hernia in conjunction with prevention of adhesive disease of the abdominal cavity: in 24 of them we performed tension with alloplastic instillation of «Mezogel», in 9 - non-tension alloplastic composite polypropylene mesh «Parietene composite».
