Technical optimism and pessimism: interpretation of the philosophy of technology

In this paper, an attempt was made to identify the historically forming factors responsible for the formation of optimistic and pessimistic views on technology. They investigated the root causes of the emergence of the philosophy of technology, also studied the functions and goals of technology and concluded that technology is an important part of human existence throughout history, it has been identified as a subject of ideological and ethical discussions, aesthetic experiences and philosophical reflections.
