Performance technique: interaction between performers in duets for piano and violin

Бесплатный доступ

This paper explores the chamber ensemble, focusing on the peculiarities of performing a duet for violin and piano. Using the example of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's famous Mannheim Sonata No. 4, we highlight the key complexities and challenges faced by musicians when performing together. We will analyze the interaction of instruments, nuances of interpretation, and role substitution in the ensemble, which will allow for a deeper understanding not only of the sonata itself, but also of the subtleties of chamber music in general.
