Technocratic and humanitarian: search of a new thinking paradigm in the essays of Sergey Zalygin

This paper considers the notions about relations between science and technologies, nature, society and man expressed in S. Zalygin's essays of 1960-1980; considers the criticism by the writer of scientific rationality, positivistic in its approach, as the thinking paradigm of the scientific and technological revolution epoch. In the analysis the methodological and valuable program of S.Zalygin is reconstructed: development of the new scientific ideal which would combine natural science and humanitarian ideals of cognition; returning to understanding nature as complex ecological organism.
