Technological Readiness of Component-Manufacturing Enterprises and Their Strategic Role in the Russian Economy

In the context of sanctions and import restrictions, the role of incomplete-cycle enterprises that localize the production of components and assemblies to ensure continuity of manufacturing processes and diversification of risks is increasing. The aim of the study is the development of a scientific-methodological approach to the assessment of technological readiness of industrial enterprises. The study’s materials include data from open electronic sources, statistical and scientific reports on the development of component manufacturers. The methods applied include analysis and synthesis of data, the comparative method for comparing the dynamics of enterprises’ technologization, and statistical methods for the collection and processing of quantitative data. The article presents a strategy for import substitution and national security, as well as production localization. Examples of companies specializing in the production of components for automobiles, rail transport, and other industrial facilities are considered, and strategic areas of innovation that may be important for component companies are discussed. A scientific and methodological approach to assessing the technological readiness of component manufacturers is presented, and an assessment methodology is developed. The results obtained make it possible to develop a methodology for assessing the technological readiness of industrial enterprises and can be used to improve production efficiency, as well as serve as a basis for further study of the innovative activities of enterprises.
