Technological Change and Globalization

The article studies the relationship between technological changes and globalization processes. The author shows that the technological origins of globalization contribute to the overcoming of existing limitations by humans, the promotion of new political and social practices through feedback, and this, in turn, strengthens the validity of subsequent discoveries. Unique technologies and advanced knowledge are a key source of advantage and power. The level of their complexity is constantly growing, since this is the only way to maintain a position, a distance from competitors and the influence on the functioning of the social system. There is tension between states and corporations due to the asymmetry of access to knowledge and opportunities for arranging the world of the future. The author concludes that ongoing technological changes open up new areas of competition, conflict, political and social change.
