Version of design of bottom water-drive reservoir with non-Newtonian viscous oil with the use of underlying watered layer for stand-by heat of pay zones is considered. It is shown that layers with shallow thickness (to 10-15 meters) can be warmed up through watered layer to temperature that permits the switch to pattern drive.
