Technologies of intercultural education in work with foreign students at modern universities

The article deals with new technologies and forms of work on development of skills of student youth’s intercultural interaction. In the universities of the eastern regions of Russia, including the Republic of Buryatia, the foreign students are represented mainly by youth from neighboring countries - Mongolia and China. This, in turn, determines the specifics of the proposed educational methods aimed at formation of highly educated and competent modern specialists, successfully interacting in both native and foreign languages. In this connection, the task of forming the intercultural competency of modern students of Russia is very important. To solve this problem, we offer various forms of work during academic studies: intercultural trainings and business role-playing games that simulate real situations of intercultural interaction; the proposed methods are based on the successfully tested works of classical and modern European and Eastern authors.
