Statement of the problem. Both renovation of professional standards and changes of means, environment and ways of communication, introduction and spread of AI technologies result in necessity of wide polycode texts introduction. Polycode texts are semiotic systems built on blending of various semiotic codes. Certain difficulties may arise while introducing dynamic polycode texts, and authentic video products in particular. Such texts often suggest complex intertextuality. The latter makes them resemble traditional text and fiction. At the same time semiotic codes of polycode texts have their own features and characteristics, which turn them into a challenge for decoding for representatives of other linguoculture. The purpose of the article is to describe stages of problem tasks and assignments construction on the data of Anglo-Saxon dynamic polycode texts and to present some results of experimental work at the specialized departments of foreign language training. Methodology (materials and methods). The methodology is based on critical reading, analysis, and summarizing of Russian and the world scientific community expertise in the field of professional training and contemporary linguistics. As basic linguodidactic approaches we chose the problem-solving and systematic methods. Research results. In the article, we introduce such linguodidactic techniques as the technique of intertextual bonds recognition, the technique of intertextual bonds building, and the technique of text modeling on the basis of intertextual bonds. These techniques serve to form and develop arts students’ skills in professional interpretation of such semiotic systems, and their intertextual components in particular. We also describe general trends of dynamics as far as the experimental work in universities is concerned. Conclusion. When choosing polycode data, the university staff should focus on texts, which are rich in common, typical, stable images and imagery bonds thought to be well recognized and frequent for a particular linguoculture. It would lead to great assistance while introducing complex theoretical material. It would also result in formation of wide interdisciplinary bonds, and would form and develop students’ competences of mediation and research work.
