The article is about issues of reforming in the higher education system, the importance of the competency approach in education. The article contains some technologies of professionally directed teaching such as various kinds of interactive, project, heuristic technologies, context teaching, as well as a special role of project pedagogical technologies in the forming of professional competences of Master''s degree students.
