Social work technologies in rehabilitation institutions during the COVID-19 global pandemic

The paper explores the changing vector of social work technology in rehabilitation institutions in relation to the CoVID-19 pandemic and quarantine restrictions in Russia. The issue of examining and systematizing international experience of social services for citizens in the context of anticoronavirus measures has been brought up to date. The questions of the effectiveness and efficiency of digital technologies in the practice of social services rendering in Russian rehabilitation institutions are touched upon. The main reasons for the low rates of actual digital inclusion in social work outreach in terms of efficiency and efficacy are explored. Some directions for improving the social welfare of citizens staying in a rehabilitation facility using information and communication technology have been outlined and substantiated. Reference is made to the need to fully implement cyber-therapy practices in social work in the context of the new social reality.
