Technologies for connecting pipes of small spacecraft engines

Was provide an overview of the connections used to connect small-diameter pipelines installed on spacecraft correction engines. The main standard designs are considered, and the results of research carried out by domestic and foreign scientists are presented. The advantages and disadvantages of each type of compound have been identified, and the possibility of their use in propulsion systems based on liquid rocket engines and electric jet engines has been assessed. It has been established that the fitting-nipple connections have the greatest compliance with the required characteristics due to their small dimensions, weight, and the ability to provide the required tightness indicators of the connection.
