Human resources management is once again becoming the subject of numerous discussions of researchers, managers, HR-specialists today, as well as the main direction of Russian leading companies’ development. The author deals with various methods of positions’ grading, which constitute an effective controlled system of remuneration and which are becoming an important tool of companies’ human resources management. Grading helps to estimate the employee’s contribution in the financial results of the company. The author also discusses advantages, disadvantages and particular qualities of grading methods’ use.
