The introduction of competence-based approach has seriously affected all components of the learning process at military institutions in discipline "Physical Education" and required significant revision of not only the objectives, outcomes and educational content, teaching methods, but also the traditional higher schools assessment systems. The paper discusses the results of the study on the introduction of technology development of military-applied physical readiness for professional activity of cadets of military-engineering higher school. The main purpose of this study was to reveal the pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the military-applied physical readiness of cadets of military higher school. The purpose and content of this process involves a focus on intellectual, social and professional development of the trainee. To implement our planned goals it was needed theoretical and practical training of cadets from the position of physical readiness for future professional activities. We used the following methods: analysis of research methods in education, physical education, psycho-physiology; content analysis of scientific and methodical literature; survey; questionnaires; pedagogical supervision; teacher testing; methods for rapid assessment of the level of physical development (functional tests); group expert assessment (GEA), pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. The paper presents a model of technology and experimentally confirmed the high efficiency of this technology.
