Technology of municipal geographic information system creation and maintenance

Efficient management of municipal unit territory development is impossible without creation and implementation of geoinformation systems, that allow regulatory bodies, natural and legal persons to use reliable true information and data for town-planning, investment and economical activities, as well as land arrangement organization. This article describes the municipal geographic information system creation and management, its modules, as backbone for the creation of the municipal geoinformation space. The basic component is geographic information system "Address Plan", main objective of which is to maintain a city address management, on the basis of the duty digital topographical drawing and city address registry.
