“Text in text” as the composition device and the culture code in the literary works of L. Rzhevsky

A high intertextuality in the literary works of the prose writer of the second wave of Russian emigration Leonid Denisovich Rzhevsky (1903 - 1986) makes it actual the using of such a composition device as the “text in text”. In his novel “Two time lines” (1976) the writer uses this device and different types of intertext: allusions, reminiscences, quotation. The quotation from the literary works of the Silver Age Poets intensifies the feeling of spiritual loss, the loss of an entire world of culture, special culture code.
