«Text formation» (the term, belonging to N. Fairclough) can be regarded as the initial stage of empirical research, implying selection, classification and primary analysis of language means (texts), creating the basis for the further subject studying. The significance of this phase for successful critical discourse-analysis is confirmed by certain theoretical, methodological, historical and political reasons.
