Texts on the Taoist alchemy for women from He Longxiang’s collection: an attempt of historical analysis

The article investigates the works from the «Collection of female alchemy» (Nüdan hebian) by He Longxiang, an early XXth century Taoist figure. The paper gives a brief description of the sources included in the collection, discussing their authorship and origin. Special attention in the analysis of texts is paid to Taoist methods of selfimprovement for women and related philosophical and religious ideas.
