The aviation industry as one of the most knowledge-intensive industries with a high unit cost of production is important for the development of the state economy. The article describes the way of transformation of the aviation industry, focuses on the changes that occurred in it after the introduction of sanctions against the Russian Federation in 2014, as well as a new wave of restrictions in 2022.
