Current state of digitalization of the Kyrgyz economy

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of digital transformation of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. It substantiates the high relevance of accelerated transition to the digital economy to achieve sustainable growth and overcome the economic backwardness of the country. The level of development of digital infrastructure, digital competencies of the population, implementation of digital solutions in key sectors of the national economy is studied. The main barriers and problems on the way to digitalization in Kyrgyzstan are identified. The most promising areas of application of advanced digital technologies, including artificial intelligence technologies, are identified. Practical recommendations are given on the activation of digital transformation processes in the republic.
