Telemedicine technologies in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary interventions for acute myocardial infarction: a review of current trends

Cardiology is one of the fields in which telemedicine technologies were first developed and introduced into everyday clinical practice. One of the main advantages of telemedicine is the possibility of remote monitoring of patients for the purpose of secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases. This review presents the current trends of telemedicine technologies in the observation of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary interventions for acute myocardial infarction, an analysis of current clinical studies on this issue.Key points: 1.
