Temporal characteristics of “family”, “mercy”, “hope”, “Motherland” as Russian culture representatives values

The article defines the category of values using temporal scales as a mean for analyzing the linguistic consciousness of Russian culture speakers. Based on the experimental data obtained, we come to conclusion that the values under study belong to the category of eternal (not actual during a definite period of time) ones. Four basic values are served as the material for the psychosemantic experiment. The scaling is used as a research method.
