Trends and prospects of raising the educational potential

The article deals with the educational potential of population. It shows that while this potential is increasing in terms of quantity, its quality does not meet the requirements of the Russian economy modernization, and the possibilities for an effective realization of the accumulated educational potential are stiffed by the state of the institutional sphere, and first of all, by the state of the labour market, which is shaped and fitted in the development of the national economy based on the extractive industry.
