Tendencies and prospects of social and economic development of the Murmansk region

In the article economic and social processes in the Murmansk region during market transformations are analyzed, and also the most significant directions of prospective economic development of the region are presented. At the analysis of social and economic processes peculiarities of structural changes and their dynamics are considered, the basic unresolved problems are singled out; the estimation of the basic conditions of realization of the contemplated processes is given.
