Trends and ways of development of the tourism industry in the Volgograd region

In the last few years, the level of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation has increased significantly. The Volgograd region was no exception. The region has historical sites and monuments, and the development of the tourism industry is one of the directions of the economic policy of the region. Over the past year, the flow of tourists in the region has increased by 12%. The article highlights the peculiarities of tourism development in the region, the main problems that exist in this area in the Volgograd region, as well as management mechanisms that contribute to solving these problems.
