This article discusses the priority directions of investing in precious metals for 2020, their positive and negative sides for investors. The urgency of this research is that precious metals are a profitable asset at any time. The purpose of this study is to analyze the market for precious metals: gold, silver, platinum and palladium. It examines the gold and silver jewellery market for 2018 and 2019, platinum and palladium demand, the impact of the economic crisis in 2020 caused by the current epidemiological situation on changes in the precious metals market.
