Trends in the use of anonymous witness testimony in Russian law enforcement practice

The article compares conceptual approaches to the concept and legal properties of anonymous witness testimony in Russian criminal procedural legislation. As a result, the authors state that the admissibility of using such testimony is based on a set of special conditions and requirements to the objectivity of the threat to the witness's safety, procedures for obtaining information and its disclosure in court proceedings.
