Trends of Vologda region's research and technological development

The article describes the trends and challenges of scientific and technological development of the Vologda region. It analyzes the main problems of innovative development of region on materials of state statistics and interviews of heads of industrial enterprises. It is revealed that the main problem is the lack of human and financial resources. The approaches to its decision are offered.
