Бесплатный доступ

The author analyses the dynamic processes which take place in the sphere of reported speech transferring and representing in mass-media discourse and the correlation of these processes with traditional mass-media genres namely the interview. On the basis of different discursive genres the tendency of active usage of circumference punctuation marks of the Russian language (typographic means of splitting the text and marking-out oppositions) is studied. In addition the change in the usage of quotation marks while representing the reported speech and their new notional functions (the sign of the interviewee's speech change with the advertising aim, distancing from the reported speech and many others) are described. It is shown that the choice of the construction representing the reported speech is defined by the author's intention and expected perlocutive effect and thus may be studied from the point of view of influence on the addressee.
