Trends in domestic economic theory

The article reveals the state of domestic economic theory. It addresses the issue of integration of Russian economic science into the global space. The research emphasizes the modern trends of scientific schools that are the study of the homo economicus, the problems of rational and subjective choice, consumer behavior and behavioral economics. The analysis has determined the lack of a unified methodology of modern domestic economic theory. The author concludes that Russian economic science should form an independent, original methodology relying on the historical logic of social development, national traditions and spiritual values, adapting world approaches, theories and schools to Russian reality.
