The research in the market and the promotion of marketing activities of an enterprise are important directions to develop economy in the modern conditions. The rationally established marketing studies providetheorganizationwithnecessarycommercialinformation,enhancecompetitivenessandstrengthen market positions. The market analysis results in the reasonable directions to stimulate marketing activity that determine the market directions of an enterprise and form the proposals to satisfy the customers’ needs and make a profit. The article analyses the development of marketing activities of the institute and concludes that the analysis and planning of the scientific organization’s activity, aimed at improving the research quality to meet world-class standards and promoting the results of scientific work, should be decisive in shaping the strategy of marketing activities for the upcoming planning period.
