The hotel industry is one of the fastest growing areas. Its development has been going on for a long time and depends on the state of the economy, politics, science and technology. This article examines innovative trends in the development of the hospitality sector and current mistakes in doing business. The above analysis of statistical data allows us to conclude that despite the rapid development of the hospitality niche in Russia, the indicators of entrepreneurial activity are unfavorable.
