The trends of development of rural tourism in Russia and in Altai region

The article considers the approach to determination of concept «rural tourism» and this difference from concept «agritourism». Also considers modern station of rural tourism in Russia and in Altai region. Within frames this research SWOT-analysis of rural tourism in Russia shown. In result reveal the trends of development and the meaning of rural tourism for solving of social and economic problems of rural areas.
