This article raises the problem of development of the market of compulsory motor third party liability insurance (MTPL). The problem of auto insurance for a long time will be relevant. In the article the factors influencing the financial condition of the market are considered, and also the changes in the legislation regulating the type of insurance chosen by us are analyzed.
