Theoretical model of artificial intelligence impact on the wage gap

Given the large scale of industrial enterprises, the large number and wide distribution of energy consumption, an AI monitoring system was introduced to study its effect on the wage gap between enterprises and the mechanism of its action. The study showed that the application of AI increased average wages in enterprises while increasing the wage gap between enterprises applying and not applying AI, and that this effect becomes more pronounced over time and manifests itself heterogeneously across industries and regions. It is concluded that training workers in new skills compatible with AI technologies is an important way to increase workers' wages and to curb further widening of the wage gap between companies.
