This study is aimed at assessing the theoretical aspects of ensuring competitiveness in the services market, considering the influence of specific features characteristic of individual market segments of the service economy. The article highlights and analyzes in detail the main criteria for the competitiveness of servicesusing the example of such an important segment of the tourism market as business tourism.
