Theoretical aspects of the concept of intercultural dialogue

The relevance of the article lies in the need for a theoretical analysis of the conceptual apparatus in order to update and clarify it. In the modern media space, philosophical definitions are increasingly blurred or distorted, which leads to their falsification and misinterpretation. Such free use of «fashionable» concepts increases the risk for population, especially young people, forming erroneous ideas about the ongoing processes in the field of intercultural communication. The methodological basis of the work is the philosophical and cultural approach. It allows focusing on the comparison and analysis of the key concepts of culture and intercultural dialogue. Despite the theoretical nature of the work, it also has practical significance, which is the ability to use well-defined philosophical definitions in the development of practical models or systems of intercultural communication.
