Theoretical aspects of psychological foundations of massage in the course of students’ training at physical education university

This article discusses the psychological basis of training students in the course of mastering the technique of massage, individual psychological characteristics of the client, his mental health and their account in the work of the masseur. Presents approaches to accentuation type of character encountered by the expert massage. Presents approaches to accentuation type of character encountered by the expert massage. The psychological characteristics of the motor actions of the masseur are determined, the motivators are indicated, the circumstances selected by the client before the massage session. Explained the term "situational afferentation" as a factor negatively affecting the psyche of the client.
