Theoretical and applied research of culture in St. Petersburg branches of the Russian Institute for Cultural Studies and the Heritage Institute (1997-2022)

The article presents brief history of creation, research and progress of the St. Petersburg branch of Russian Institute forCultural Studies and its successor, Russian Scientific Research Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage named after D.Likhache (1997-2022). Main projects and publications carried out by employees in the field of cultural studies, cultural and natural heritage, problems of intercultural and interreligious dialogue are listed.
