Theoretical concepts of the role of a leader in the field of game sports

This article presents the theoretical aspects of a leader and his influence on the success of a team in game sports. The factors of theoretical analysis are considered, where it was revealed that sports activity is of a collective nature, takes place with the participation and interaction of three important connecting links - coach-leader-player. The formation of relationships between athletes in a sports team and its effectiveness is influenced by the impact of objective, subjective and socio-psychological factors. As a result, we carried out an analysis of the effectiveness of the actions of the leader leading the team, which allows us to identify the following leadership functions: organizational, informational and educational.
