In this article are substantiated the importance of studying of the crises-transition to late adulthood and to oldness in logic of the theoretical concept of an ego-identity in standard crises of adulthood by E.L. Soldatova. The results of theoretical analysis of the content of culture image of late adulthood and oldness have been described. Image of late adulthood meet the following development tasks: development of calm and self-sufficient life position, transfer energy to other forms of activity and new social roles, experience spiritual sense of life live, new love of his parents, awareness of the need for further development, affectional relation to the principles of past times and different activities as they manifest in human culture. Image of oldness meet the following development tasks: awareness of property having a value in excess of personal, analysis of the life lived, understanding and solution of an existential problem of an extremity of life, acceptance of imperfection as himself and the world, awareness of the boundaries of the possible, transfer of energy to the work of the internal plan, and therefore adaptation to physical changes. This article discussed the relationship between relation to development tasks and ego-identity status. In the first phase of the crisis person only superficially takes ages development objectives. In the second phase, the age problem blurred, but there is an active search for the meaning of each. In the third phase of the crisis regulatory person quirky and deeply understands their age identity. In the stable period refers to people age the challenges of development as obvious but unimportant at this time. The procedure of the semi-structured interview to identify phase normative age crises as a transition to late adulthood and oldness, with followed by peer evaluation.
