The article examines the theoretical foundations and economic content of the concept of “transport infrastructure” in the system of scientific knowledge. The author analyzed modern scientific approaches to defining transport infrastructure, determined that it is advisable to consider a complex of various logistics, technical and technological elements (transport routes, transport corridors, warehouses, gas stations, service and repair enterprises, etc.) as a transport infrastructure. organizations and enterprises engaged in servicing passenger and freight transportation, ensuring the functioning of all types of transport and creating conditions for solving socio-economic problems that are determined by the needs for the transportation of goods and passengers, as well as the financial and economic needs of the economy and directly the needs of the transport enterprises themselves.
